We’ve never been the ones to shy away from attention, and think every lady needs one suit in her closet that turns heads! Always on the hunt for unique bikinis and innovating designs, we’re happy to say that we’ve scouted out some of the very best. Stylish, unique and sexy– we love them!

When we first laid eyes on American Honey, we were shocked that it was their debut season. Designer Andrea Gomez makes it look like she’s been at this for years, and the two suits above are prime examples of her aesthetic. Part rocker part sultry vixen, we’re loving the aggressive edge Gomez has given her suits.

Don’t know about you, but we could definitely see ourselves living in this abroad. Say, the sandy beaches of Barcelona…! One thing is sure, no matter where you go, this plunging neckline will turn heads if you’re daring enough to wear it!

And finally, these beauties. The liquid-like midnight material on the Komodo suit is gorgeous. One of those things you have to see to believe. And no one can deny that the unique design across the front of the Axel 1pc is one-of-a-kind.

TGIF! The end of another hectic but rewarding week at Molly Brown’s. The Swimsuit Edition of Sport’s Illustrated hit the stands, and we’re getting an influx of swim connoisseurs getting their orders in! When it comes to getting dressed for any occasion– from your daily uniform to reaching for a bikini for the beach, it’s always convenient to go with classic black– chic, flattering and effortless. But with all the amazing prints we’ve been seing this season, we’re hereby making a commitment to prints!
Agua Bendita Swimwear has some of the most amazing printed bikinis, and each one is unique in every way. Their nautical inspired print takes on a more vintage tone but paired with sexy architectural cutouts. The cowboys & indians feel of their native american print is modern and fresh in lieu of the common native pattern, and the mini rosettes on the skirted Aventurero suit proves to be the perfect combination of flirty and feminine.

Equally exciting is the return of the Aloha print, and let’s face it, a pink aloha print is even better. Which is why we were over the moon to see these hawaiian inspired prints from Acacia and Mikoh pop up in Molly Brown’s signature pink.

Hope your holidays were full of rest and relaxation, silly Christmas movies, good-times spent with friends and family, and of course, a little holiday shopping. Shopping BEFORE and FOR the holidays can be a bit stressful (totally fun!) but stressful. POST-holiday shopping, after the madness has died down, is just plain fun, minus the stress. Call us nuts but we love after-Christmas shopping, and this winter season we’re still dreaming of summer, and the cheeky bottoms we’ll be living in…

Every year we’re on the look out for what the swimwear season’s “it” color will be. This year it seems like pale blues and poppy apricot and citrus shades are taking the cake, but some pretty amazing prints have surfaced, not to mention unique, and are sure to become major statement pieces. Also still on point with the summer brights trend!

The geometric print on this Despi bikini is a punchy contrast to its feminine ruffled edges and the Artisan dye on the Vitamin A is is simply gorgeous. When thinking of prints, we normally envision one all-over, so the dye on this suit was distinct and immediately eye-catching!

The salmon-colored fish-scaled suit by Odabash is a refreshing take on animal print. Tired of the ol’ leopard or serpent? Who knew fish scales could be so sophisticated? (Also comes in a pretty violet)! The landscape print on the Salinas suit is so unique, none of them are even alike! Each sandy beach design on every suit is cut individually, so what you get is truly one of a kind.

We’ve been longtime fans of the mix and match bikini, which is why year after year some of our favorite lines are the ones that allow you to purchase separates. This season, instead of mixing patterns with solids, we’re seeing a surge of colorblocking sweep the runways, solids contrasting solids.
Mix this top with that bottom. The trick to pulling this look off is to mix complimentary colors, using one neutral shade to anchor the whimsy. This neutral taupe grounds the pretty citrus without contrasting too starkly — both by L*SPACE.
We also like the idea of the monochromatic colorblock, where two different hues of one color creates a modern yet flirty swim ensemble. These pretty shades of blue by VITAMIN A are prime examples.

Hot pinks and neon brights are fun for summer, but sometimes toning it down can be fiercely sexy. We think, when paired with the right details, understated neutral shades and chic nude color schemes can make a bold and sophisticated statement. See below to find out what we mean!

When wearing neutral shades, keeping the silhouette simple and streamlined is key to the effortlessly-pulled-together look. As an alternative to the piling on of adornments, subtler details like fabric choice, elegant hardware, sleek cuts and design add dimension to the simple color palette and keep these natural beauties from feeling overworked.
Nude, coincidentally, resembles skin (go figure), so double-takes may occur. But HEY, we said sophisticated and sexy. True to the Molly Brown’s style! ;)
