Known for sophisticated swimwear with a sense of whimsy, renowned designer Red Carter lends his contagious charm, unique design outlook, and years of industry experience to the wildly popular brand that bears his name. Reds drive and ambition have long influenced his character, beginning during his youth in Southern California. As a competitive athlete, Red was an accomplished swimmer, diver and water polo player. Red further indulged his need to ham it up by dabbling in the entertainment industry. Gracing the big and small screens, Red showed he was set on stardom from the start.

Red set off to study at the Otis/Parson School of Art and Design in Los Angeles and just out of graduation began designing sports and active wear for Espirit, Guess Jeans, Rampage, Mossimo, Victorias Secret and Oscar de le Renta. Red moved to Miami in 2003 and with his new surroundings he was motivated and inspired to create his brand to reflect the city’s burgeoning creative spirit. The Red Carter swimwear collection was launched in 2004. 

The Red Carter collection incorporates fit, form and function, combining subtle details, bold prints and advanced technical constructions often neglected by other swimwear designers. The collection is known for its’ use of amazing imported fabrics, hardware and trims. The unique and exclusive Red Carter swim and resort wear has become a favorite among celebrities and high profile women across the country.
