Neila Granzoti Rudden was born and raised in Sao Paulo, by her Brazilian and Italian parents. Elements of these two cultures mingle in the inspiration of her line of jewelry, swimwear, and lingerie. What began as a gesture of love, creating jewelry for her mother and sister as gifts, quickly became Neila's passion. She continued designing jewelry, swimwear and then lingerie inspired by the natural beauty in which she was raised. Her Italian sensibility, the feminine values she learned from her mother and her vast travels also influence her work.
The designer takes women on a creative journey that is personal and luxurious. Her sensual, feminine pieces caress the skin, celebrating the female form. Each piece is named after an exotic plant, animal, or place in Brazil. For example a necklace made of pau-brazil wood is named "Victoria-Regia" after a beautiful lily pad-like aquatic plant that only exists in Brazil. Blending sensuality with elegance, Neila's collections offer women pieces they can wear everyday to feel naturally comfortable, sexy and beautiful. She personally tries each prototype, sending only the styles that flatter the female form into production.
Neila earned her degree in graphic design while studying in London. She subsequently moved to Milan, where she absorbed Italian culture and fashion before moving to New York City in 2005 to pursue her design career. Neila's inspiration is the natural beauty of her native Brazil and the cultural imprint of living in Italy. Fusing these cultural threads into a unifying vision of fashion is what she offers her lines. diNeila's line of semi-precious jewelry, swimwear and lingerie blends the styles and trends of the two countries to create an eclectic collection that is both seductive and vibrant. Neila does not believe that women need special occasions to look sensual. The lingerie line is specifically created for women who want to be uniquely sexy, all the time, in a very special way.
