2017 is coming to end which means… bring on the new styles! Swimwear is making a splash in 2018. These are the new trends to look out for with the new year.
OFF THE SHOULDER
This trend is the perfect mix of fashion and function. Off the shoulder tops are always unique and flirty. They keep tan lines to a minimum and can easily be worn as cute crop tops with denim cut offs.
PLUNGE NECK ONE PIECES
Who says one pieces have to cover you up? Plunge necklines are incredibly flattering and spice up any suit! These styles are right on trend for 2018.
2018 is bringing the heat with its bright color palette! It’s time to throw out your little black bikini and buy something in a fun color. From electric purple to orange the possibilities are endless!
2018 is just around the corner don’t wait to buy your new suits for the year!
Every swimsuit needs the perfect coverup. These are perfect for throwing on an spicing up any outfit. These coverups can also be worn anywhere from the beach to the boulevard.
Summer isn’t over yet. Time to hit the beach, this weekend, in style! We just got in tons of new arrivals from brands like Vitamin A and L*Space. Here are two chic looks that are sure to make you a stand out wherever you are.

Buying a swimsuit can be one of the most daunting things a woman can do, especially nowadays! Strings, high necks, wrap arounds, underwire etc., the style list goes on and on! On the bright side, more styles means more fits for every body. And thankfully, we’re here to help you find the perfect suit for your perfect body!
Tiny Top– For those of us who don’t have the upper half of Kate Upton
- Embrace your chest or lack therof! Less chest means less support. You can get away with tiny bandeaus and scoop necks
Large Bust– For girls with the girls, try this style!
- Molded cups, thicker over the shoulder straps give support and won’t create neck strain
Perfect Pear– Bootylicious is a real word!
- Stay away from boy shorts, extra material will draw attention where you may not want any!
- Go for a top with an added detail or design to avert the eyes upward!
Athletic- Straight and narrow
- Bold prints and detail draw attention and create a curvature to your body where there may not be one
Curvy- Coke Bottle Body
- Color blocking and patterns bring in your waist and flatter your curves
At the end of the day, wear what you feel most comfortable in & embrace your body whatever shape it may be!
This Fashion Friday’s pick is going to be an outfit from Blue Life by Planet Blue.
This is one of my favorite outfits of the season! The Haley Top is a lightweight piece with a deep V that overlaps in the front. Belled sleeves make for a cute retro look that can be dressed up or worn casually.
Gypsy Pant is a mid rise pant with pockets. The vertical stripes along the sides elongate the legs.
The Haley Top also comes in printed or indigo and can be paired any bottom.
Blue Life is Planet Blue’s in-house brand. Blue Life’s versatile pieces are designed to be worn from the beach to the streets!
The line features a collection of bohemian silhouettes and off the shoulder pieces that epitomizes the true style of a California girl.
My other favorite piece from them is the BB Dress. This dress has a deep V neckline with a knotted detail under the bust for a fuller look. Sexy side cutouts lead to a cutout back as well.
